Other bootstrap scripts searches the $PATH for common names of autotools, but I actually like this approach (haven't seen it before): It keeps the script ultrasmall and "dumb" as it should be IMHO. :-) > The patch looks good. I will then move to maintaining the Debian packaging at your repository, too. In a separate subtree (not gd/libgd but gd/debian). Unless you disagree, of course! I probably won't help much with maintaining the code itself: I am a packager, not a coder. So my experience is mostly with scripting languages, and to some extend make and autotools. Not C and the like. > ps: I'm also on Freenode #libgd if you like faster answers :) Ah, thanks but I prefer email: Chat tends to steal too much of my time (as if email didn't already :-P ), gets archived (by nature, not as an addon) and is asynchronous so I can choose myself when to dig into stuff and read in my own pace. All in all I find email less stressful :-) - -- * Jonas Smedegaard - idealist og Internet-arkitekt * Tlf.: +45 40843136 Website: http://dr.jones.dk/ - Enden er nær: http://www.shibumi.org/eoti.htm -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFFlt+tn7DbMsAkQLgRAk4OAJ9BF1uhekgwFKSAr92mx5QpU8D3vACfbs1w huWV8U07/HyzKCEbLbPweT8= =tMuP -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
