error with png compiling GD library

Hi, I think Im in trouble because I need to upgrade a Linux server to a AIX 5.3 server. On the Linux box there's a lot of perl script running with perl and GD. I successfully installed DBI for perl but not yet GD for perl. Here is my setup and what I did:
Obtained perl 5.8.8 and built it from that command "./Configure -de -Dcc=gcc -Duse64bitall" with gcc
Obtained zlib-1.2.3 and built it without error with gcc
Obtained libpng-1.2.20 and built it without error with gcc
Obtained jpeg-6.0.2.0 and built it without error with gcc
Obtained GD-2.35 and built it from "./configure --without-freetype --without-fontconfig --without-xpm --without-pthreads"
That part goes without error but when I run "make" I had this error:
gcc -g -O2 -o .libs/gdparttopng gdparttopng.o -L/usr/local/lib -L./.libs -lgd -liconv -ljpeg -lpng12 -lz -lm -Wl,-blibpath:/usr/local/lib:/usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/powerpc-ibm-aix5.2.0.0/3.3.2:/usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/powerpc-ibm-aix5.2.0.0/3.3.2/../../..:/usr/lib:/lib
ld: 0711-317 ERROR: Undefined symbol: .gdImagePng
ld: 0711-345 Use the -bloadmap or -bnoquiet option to obtain more information.
collect2: ld returned 8 exit status
make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is 1.
If I'am not in the right forum, let me know. I will post in the good one. I really really need to get this think works.
