GD Library

Hi Guys
 
I am new to GD library and have implemented the bdg.dll in a web application to paint some images (users can come to the site and start painting the images), now the issue here is that the application works fine till there is only one user on the site, however the moment the second user logs in, the dll crashes and gives all sorts of errors., like
 
- whole image gets painted with a solid color, and it happens exactly the same time for the second user also
- gdImage.LoadFromFile starts throwing exception for no reason, and is corrected only when iis is reset
 
this whole web application is on windows 2003 server.
 
Has someone experienced these issues, please help
