Hi Matteus!

I added your function as a demo in CVS (libgd/examples). I'm also
using it to compare results with my current work on the new internal
formats. I can now give you a date for a commit of this work, end of
next week (I'm well advanced and will get some free time early next
week).

One little bug in my code, when you resize the images and go back to a
smaller size, it crashes. I did not have the time to debug so feel
free to commit a fix if you like.
