using an derived gd function in another program

Hi!

I am not on this list, so could all replies be CC'd to me?

I am writing a program that will be licensed under GPL v3.0. I use a  
slightly derived version of gdImageCopyResampled() in it. I am not  
exactly sure how I should give credit to libgd in my README or in the  
source file. Could anyone give me tips on how I should do this? Thanks!
