Pending patches for 2.0.34 commited, remain a couple of build issues

The latest patches I got for 2.0.34 are now committed and only a
couple of configure/build patches remain.

I like to finally release 2.0.34 during this week. Please test the
current CVS against your code or applications and report any issues
(here or in the issues tracker).

Jonas, let me know if you have any questions regarding the integration
of these patches in debian.

Please report issues or patches you need for your
distributions/packages or applications, please consider 2.0.34 as a
bug fixes release only, no new feature.

More details about the next releases (2.0.35 and 2.1.0) will be
published later this week in the issues tracker.
