Re: [PHP] test/list DMARC issues

One of the issues that some people may be encountering is that this
mailing list's software doesn't handle things correctly for DMARC. If
your provider's mail server is configured to enforce DMARC, messages
from places that have "reject" set, e.g., yahoo:

  _dmarc.yahoo.com.	1800	IN	TXT	"v=DMARC1\; p=reject\;

will be rejected by your mail server. In a case like this, this means
that anyone with an @yahoo... address who posts to this list will
cause a bounce for recipient list member whose mail server is
enforcing DMARC. Depending on the configuration of the mailing list
software and the frequency of postings by @yahoo people the
(passive/recipient) list member may get a probe or may get dropped
from the list.

The long and short is that this list's software needs to be updated
to something that conforms with current mail standards and practices.
I have tried to raise this with the owners of various of the php
lists, but have gotten no response or action.
