PHP 8.5.5RC1 has just been released and may be downloaded from
https://downloads.php.net/~edorian/

Or use the git tag: php-8.5.5RC1

Windows binaries, once built, will be available at:
https://www.php.net/pre-release-builds.php#windows

Please test it carefully and report any bugs at
https://github.com/php/php-src/issues/new?template=bug_report.yml on GitHub.

8.5.5 can be expected in 2 weeks, on 9 Apr 2026.

Potentially, there will be 8.5.5RC2 in one week.
