aolserver + PHP4 + FreeBSD?

Hi,

I'm trying to install PHP4 and AOLserver on FreeBSD 3.3, and I have many
questions.

1. AOLserver seems to have support for Postgres and other DB's but not
MySQL. But that's okay, right? Since I'll be using PHP4 to access MySQL?

2. Will PHP4 run only as a CGI module if I want to use AOLserver?

3. Making PHP4 bonks out when trying to compile the AOLserver portion...
help!

4. Has anyone performed any benchmarks of Linux+Apache+PHP+MySQL vs.
FreeBSD+AOLserver+PHP+MySQL?
