RE: [PHP-GENERAL] Exec() trouble

yes, but when you telnet in you are in a shell (probably bash) php doesnt
run the shell so will need to know if you have nohup program where it is..
some shells have nohup built in.  shells also have a path variable, which
can be set/extended when you login, PHP is no doubt not doing this.

Try finding the nohup binary!
