Bug Type: PHP-GTK related
Operating System: RedHat 9
PHP Version: 5.1.5
New Comment:
Please try using this CVS snapshot:
http://snaps.php.net/php5.2-latest.tar.gz
For Windows (zip):
http://snaps.php.net/win32/php5.2-win32-latest.zip
For Windows (installer):
http://snaps.php.net/win32/php5.2-win32-installer-latest.msi
Does this still occur with newer PHP and PHP-GTK2 versions?

Description:
------------
Under Redhat 9 using PHP 5.1.4, gcc 3.2.2, php-gtk2.0alpha (and also
php-gtk from CVS), everything compiles and links ok but when I try to
run PHP (after having added the extension=php_gtk2.so to the php.ini I
get:
<b>Warning</b>: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library
'/usr/local/php-5.1.4/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20050922/php_gtk2.so'
- /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0: undefined symbol: g_hash_table_ref in
<b>Unknown</b> on line <b>0</b><br />
Of note, I had to compile and install by hand all the components of
gtk+-2.0 .. including glib, cairo, atk, pango, gtk, etc.
However, the test gtk apps work just fine so I have reason to believe
it's not my compilation of the libraries thats' at fault.
Installing the same php-gtk codebase under Fedora Core 4 using PHP
5.1.4 worked just fine.
