Testing 2/29 release

If this came up already and I missed it, apologies.

I can install the package on WinX just fine and run the demo.  But I'm
not having any luck getting MySQL working.  I rummaged about the
internet and manage to find a current extension file, but I still get an
'unable to initialize' error for the module.  AFACT, the difference is
in the compiled thread safety: 1 for MySQL and 0 for the php-gtk.

Any suggestions?  I have no way to compile the php in WinX.
