ack - to the list again Again - if protecting your source code is an issue for your app, you're using the wrong tool. You can use PHP encoders but they slow things down and usually you have to pay for them (and they can always dump out the opcodes...) It might be easier to distribute your app if you use a phar (people are also less likely to go digging around) - see php.net/phar as for the icon issue - that's in the manual see http://gtk.php.net/manual/en/gtk.gtkwindow.method.set_icon.php along with set_icon_from_file and other variations Thanks, Elizabeth On Thu, Mar 11, 2010 at 8:20 AM, raedbenz <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > Elizabeth Smith wrote: > > > > ---------- Forwarded message ---------- > > From: Elizabeth Smith <[email protected]> > > Date: Thu, Mar 11, 2010 at 7:55 AM > > Subject: Re: [PHP-GTK-DEV] get (.exe) from phpgtk2 on windows > > To: raedbenz <[email protected]> > > > > > > That's the difference between using a compiled language and an > interpreted > > language - don't compare php-gtk to VB or C, compare it to pygtk or > > perl-gtk > > or ruby-gtk or any similar interpreted language.
