GtkRuler::draw_pos GtkRuler::draw_ticks

GtkRuler::draw_pos and GtkRuler::draw_ticks don't appear to do anything. 
The position and ticks are drawn whether you call these or not. Can 
anyone else confirm this? I am going to comment them out of the docs for 
now. If they are useful, can someone please send me an example showing 
how they work.
