That would be only for the first installation. Updates will not require 
a new php/gtk installation. You just release "patches" with the new code 
(around 30KB). That would work just like Firefox or Thunderbird (a large 
runtime environment with a small amount of XUL code, very small updates).

I spend 95% of my time on linux, of course I'll take care of linux users.
