RE: [PHP-GTK] Where are the apps?

Cool,

I have been visualizing a website with a downloadable install for a GTK app
that would interface back to the web server via soap or something similar to
AJAX, and would do things locally like CAD, that cannot be done on a
website.  Can't help but think of it like that folding umbrella carried by
"Inspector Gadget", where you click a button and it becomes a helicopter (a
powerful extension).  Sort of a different way of extending a web app, AJAX
without the JavaScript part of AJAX, PHP on both machines.
