OT? PHP future with IPV6

Hi Everyone

This is my first post, I hope it is not too far off topic.

I am new to php-gtk but I see real opportunities here. Due to the 
exhaustion of IP address the internet needs to be switched over to IPV6 
soon. IPV6 has billions of times more addresses then IPV4 which has 
about 4 billion. With so many addresses there will be obscurity and it 
looks like people can come out from behind their firewalls.

I was thinking that this will present many more opportunities for 
specialized web hosting tasks and hybrid desktop/web top applications. I 
would like to write an application to control lab instruments that would 
broadcast the results to the web in near real time. PHP-gtk and IPV6 
might be just the thing to build an instrument control/web server all in 
one.

Are other people planing for IPV6 with php-gtk? Am I off track? Are 
there any IPV6 PHP resources out there? Any php-gtk IPV6 based App in 
the works or completed?
