Hello , I'm use to work with my LAMP platform , using Php for Web devoloping end design, but I'd like to explore Desktop stand alone 's world with Php programming. I had a problem installing Php-gtk on my Pc, it runs Ubuntu 7.10, installation was ok, I've tested the demos from command line but I had no more Php running with Apache2 !!! something's vital for me, you know. So, today I have erased php-gtk and re-installed Apache, Php as module of it and Mysql. I'd like to ask for the more expert people of developers and users here what is the best choice for me: - Installing Php-gtk on my Win Xp partition and let keep the too Phps strictly separated. - Another way (if there is) to let Php run both with cli and as Apache's module ? Thank you very much.
