Because it works!

I've developed a rich, complex application managing large amounts of data with 
PHP4/GTK1. Because of this, the jump from PHP4/GTK1 to PHP5/GTK2 would be 
very, very painful. In the meantime, javascript and the Internet have advanced 
to the point where we are switching to a web-based model rather than refactor 
our aging (but still useful) PHP4/GTK1 application.
