Not a bad idea, like the annotated php-manual on php.net..
I found already a lot of useful information in the comments overthere.
It could only help people, though on php.net they do have the problem
of sorting all relevant comments because a lot of people don't
bother to even look at the styleguide for writing comments, so all kinds
of crap get posted and in the end you can't find the relevant
information anymore in the jungle of useless questions and plain wrong
comments.
