how to make PHP only 1MB

Hi,

I want to make php a small system administration tool
to replace sh, grep, sed, awk ... Those advanced
feature, like xml, mysql support, etc, are not needed.
The problem is the binary is too big for my low
profile embedded system.

If I use "./configure", the compiled php is 3.1MB.
If I use "./configure --disable-all", the compiled php
is 2.1MB.

Is there any way to make it even smaller? The size of
1MB  is ideal to me.
