Are you including/requiring the file 'DB.php' into your script?
The easiest way to do it is to add the path to your PEAR directory to
the include_path directive in php.ini and then just put the line
"require('DB.php');" into your scripts _before_ you try to use any DB
functions.

All PEAR packages need to be included or required into your script for
you to use their functions, they are not automatically available.
