PHP with mycrypt

I have tried unsuccessfully to install PHP (4.3.9) with libmcrypt 
2.5.7(--with-mycrypt).  It seems to build OK but afterwards phpinfo shows 
mycrypt enabled but doesn't recognize any ciphers.  You can look phpinfo() 
output at http://sol.isu.edu/stuff/test.php and the mycrypt function 
initialization at http://sol.isu.edu/csdt220/mcrypt.php. If anyone can 
enlighten me on this one, I would greatly appreciate your help.
