They work for me as well. On port 8000 OK. Why are you running apache on port 8000? All web browsers default to using port 80 for http requests. Are you running more than one instance of Apache? Firewall rules can be set for each individual port. Because your firewall allows http connections on port 8000, doesn't necessarily mean that you can connect OK on port 80. Please make sure your apache is listening on port 80, and that port 80 is not blocked by your firewall. You can check which ports are open to others by going to http://www.grc.com and click on: Services > ShieldsUp You can then get an outsiders view of which ports are open to the internet.
