Re: [PHP-INSTALL] About PHP

Dear Ryan or others,

I failed to install GDCHART module in my Ubuntu 9.04 running PHP 5.2.6 as
this following error message:

root@ariza-laptop:/home/ariza# pecl install gdchart beta
Failed to download pecl/gdchart within preferred state "stable", latest
release is version 0.2.0, stability "beta", use "channel://
pecl.php.net/gdchart-0.2.0" to install
Cannot initialize 'channel://pecl.php.net/gdchart', invalid or missing
package file
No releases available for package "pecl.php.net/beta"
Cannot initialize 'channel://pecl.php.net/beta', invalid or missing package
file
Package "channel://pecl.php.net/gdchart" is not valid
Package "channel://pecl.php.net/beta" is not valid
install failed
root@ariza-laptop:/home/ariza#


Can anybody help me how to use pecl to install php modules?
