No core developer gives a damned to the ISAPI, that's what I meant, sorry :)

They had no alternative for a very long time, so yes, I'm sure there
is a lot of users. But I met only one happy user (out of hundreds),
but they were using a custom compiled PHP with almost no extension
enabled.

PWS used ISAPI, but it is not supported anymore.

That sounds reasonable enough. If there is someone really willing to
use the ISAPI, we can always give him an ISAPI dll without any
guarantee or support.
