I do have VC++2008. So i will follow the instructions from the wiki and use
5.3.

Once successful, i will send you the link for the dependencies (headers &
lib) for DB2 and it will be taken forward for including it in the official
php installable ?

That won't work for PHP 5.2. Additionally you need VC6 (enterprise for
non slow binary) for php 5.2. However once you get it for VC9 I can do
the VC6 ones on our snaps if you don't a vc6 at hand.
