Well i think i have a fair reason. We appreciate your help in advancing the project and helping to bring PHP to people in your corner of the world, but the guidelines are in place for a reason on our end, too. An example of an exception to the two-mirror rule would be something like extremely high traffic requiring a third mirror to balance the load. However, if you're interested in translating the official documentation, why not consider becoming an official translator for the project? If you're interested, I'd recommend joining the main documentation mailing list at [email protected]. I'd also speak with people like Philip Olson and Hannes Magnusson to get some help in starting the official translation. After you send a few patches, you can apply for a CVS account to commit your efforts yourself. As for being an unofficial mirror, you're more than welcome to do that at any time. -- </Daniel P.
