    Believe me, I'm well aware.  I had a very serious family emergency
arise over the weekend that required more of my attention than any
other matter.  This and all else took a back seat.

    Incidentally, this misfortune worked out in your favor.  You had
failed to respond in a timely manner (or at all) to a repair
