europe.rsync.php.net shouldn't listen to http traffic at all, that is just
weird? Besides it would show up as unofficial mirror (and being an extra
attack vector).
If it is on a server listening to http, I guess a blank html page with meta
refresh to www.php.net would be best. idk though, don't have a strong
opinion.


I have no need to get the confirmations, we'll script this soon enough, but
many people like replying (in private, or onlist) as notes to themselves
that they've finished :)
