Timestamps make sense, same time for both alerts I got today. Anyway, I have set Nagios (from Germany) and Pingdom (Worldwide) checks for md1.php.net and got no alarms. Just had a look inside the logs and realized that you use a single location for the tests (140.211.15.143). It's not an ideal solution for integrity checks of worldwide resources ;) Regards, Sebastian On Wed, May 27, 2015 at 9:12 PM, Hannes Magnusson < [email protected]> wrote: > Note the timestamps. > This is in the last 24hours, not right-now. > > It means that one (out of I think 6 or 7) of the requests we made to your > mirror did not get any reply from the server within 15seconds. > Then 4 hours later, similar situation -- no answer within 15seconds. > > -Hannes > > > > > On Wed, May 27, 2015 at 11:07 AM, Sebastian Zavadschi < > [email protected]> wrote: > >> I'm getting responce from my local network and from Germany (Hetzner) and >> USA (GTT) as well. >> >> What could be the problem, what exactly does it mean "HTTP request failed" >> in mirror test script? >> >> On Wed, May 27, 2015 at 9:02 PM, Hannes Magnusson < >> [email protected]> wrote: >> >>> [27-May-2015 10:07:49 UTC] PHP Warning: >>> file_get_contents(http://php.dev.md/manual/noalias.txt): failed to >>> open stream: HTTP request failed! in >>> /local/mirrors/php-master-web/scripts/mirror-test on line 138 >>> [27-May-2015 14:08:24 UTC] PHP Warning: >>> file_get_contents(http://php.dev.md/results.php?q=example&p=manual&l=en >>> ): >>> failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! in >>> /local/mirrors/php-master-web/scripts/mirror-test on line 138 >>> >>> It is timing out once in a while. >>> >>> At the moment it is active though. >>> >>> -Hannes >>> >>> >>> On Wed, May 27, 2015 at 11:00 AM, Sebastian Zavadschi <[email protected]> wrote: >>> > OK, after waiting a while, it looks to be a false alarm, md1.php.net >>> is >>> > still listed at http://php.net/mirrors.php >>> > >>> > http://status.php.net/ also shows no problems. >>> > >>> > On Wed, May 27, 2015 at 5:36 PM, Sebastian Zavadschi < >>> [email protected]> >>> > wrote: >>> > >>> >> I don't see any problem on my side. >>> >> www.php.net (*.php.net as well) should be served by md1.php.net with >>> no >>> >> issues, double checked with "curl -H ..." command. >>> >> >>> >> Please let me know if there is anything I can do to get this sorted >>> out and >>> >> stop getting alerts. >>> >> >>> >> Regards, >>> >> Sebastian >>> >> On May 27, 2015 1:07 PM, <[email protected]> wrote: >>> >> >>> >> > Dear Sebastian Zavadschi <[email protected]> >>> >> > >>> >> > The mirror you are maintaing for php.net (md1.php.net) has been >>> disabled >>> >> > due to: >>> >> > >>> >> > Failed 'www.php.net' check: Couldn't fetch >>> /manual/noalias.txt >>> >> > from www.php.net >>> >> > >>> >> > Likely cause: >>> >> > Does not answer to www.php.net. www.php.net is now >>> experimenting >>> >> > with >>> >> > GeoDNS and we have requested all mirrors to add www.php.net >>> as >>> >> > ServerAlias. >>> >> > Please see: >>> >> > >>> >> >>> http://grokbase.com/t/php/php-mirrors/15190w93m0/www-php-net-over-geodns-please-update-your-serveralias >>> >> > >>> >> > >>> >> > >>> >> > For more information please checkout our mirroring-troubles page: >>> >> > http://md1.php.net/mirroring-troubles.php >>> >> > >>> >> > Please resolve this issue ASAP.
