Introduction

Hello everyone,

As you can see my name is Māris and I am the guy who has taken over the 
maintenance of lv1.php.net from Kaspars.

My (private) server with the set up mirror is located in Riga and 
connected to 100 MBit line with largest ISP in the country - Lattelecom.
As of this morning (that's about 13 hours before this email) 
mirror.php.lv is pointing to my copy of the mirror and happily serving 
requests. However I'd like to ask whoever is in charge of DNS records to 
change the CNAME of lv1.php.net to php-mirror.netparks.lv - so that 
there's no extra steps in-between.

There's no stats set up yet, but I hope to get to that in a few days.
