Actually, php_http.dll (i.e., HTTP) *is* bundled with PHP (on Windows) since 5.1.6.
However, it refuses to load. The requirements mentioned in other pages are also now bundled, including CURL, or compiled in directly, like HASH, ICONV, and SPL.
But some *other* DLL is required for Windows, but the Documentation fails to mention it. Maybe something Apache-specific?
