I'm new to php. And I'll be happy to be proved wrong.
But none of these solutions work if I need to return all the ids just been created by my multi row insert statement.
I need to send back the client the AI ids of rows that I just created so that they could delete or update using those ids.
So, last_insert_id, mysqli->insert_id won't help me in anyway unless i insert one rwo at a time Which is a shame when you have the ability to add multiple rows in one statement.
