more tests

Hi all,

As Ulf notes [1] in a recent blog post, the MySQL guys have added  
quite a number of generic tests, however since we have a lot of  
existing drivers that act all different in subtle ways, they might  
still cause failures on some drivers. Fixing those "bugs" can however  
be considered as BC breaks by some endusers. So it would be really  
great if different maintainers could work together to find a  
reasonable base line to be able to add the drivers and fix as many  
inconsistencies as possible.

I am sending this to the pdo list to see if given the current state of  
the PDOv2 debate (more or less dead), it still makes sense to keep  
this list around or not.
