Yes, I'm mistaken. You used that as some kind of convoluted reasoning to say 
that it would be the same false logic.

It's not the same false logic. Basically CLA stuff is off the wall as far as 
OSS is concerned. This is a dead argument Bill, nobody @php.net (okay, but 
very few) are buying it. We moved on from there to 'how do we get around 
this problem' earlier. Can we please go back to that rather than 'I 
say'/'well I say'? because so far the only realistic compromise I've seen is 
the one Ben posted, and that was far more interesting than who's right or 
wrong.
