Ola Derrick,

thank you for your advice -- I'm trying to raise this issue in the
internals list, where it looked like resurrecting the dead. Then I
came to the pdo list archive, and saw that it's not an issue with
PDO-DBLIB, but PDO at all -- isn't there any further
development/debate on PHP PDO?
