And like I said, there is still plenty of angle for patent trolls to  
leverage when it comes to users of PHP. People should be scared of  
submitting copyright violations anyways and so far in all the cases  
where it still has happened (usually accidentally) it was worked out.  
So my point is, if CEO's of Fortune 500 companies care about this, so  
be it, but do not make it sound like having a CLA in place is much of  
a feature for most users. Maybe US contributors are a bit about the  
liability waiver, but the rest of the world is not concerned about  
that one either.

Again I am only refuting the claims that have been brought forth that  
we, the averages Joe's, that are freelancing or working in small  
companies around the world should appreciate that they gain some level  
of protection because people have to sign a CLA to contribute to PDO.
