Seems like they are removed in default setup of 1.11.4

be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in

I've noticed that in recent PEAR versions there is a new class with just
his function.
Is it possible to fix this so it uses the new class for that function
(or dependable on php version from the original class and with newer php
(i think since 5.0) the other class.
