please reopen svn2git bug:

because the git repo is not complete.

you can probably speed up the process if you rsync the svn 
directory to your local machine and then run the migration 
script

if you don't have rsync (or similar) access, you could try 
svnsync:
http://svnbook.red-bean.com/en/1.7/svn.ref.svnsync.html

or maybe publish your migration scripts, so others could run 
them?

huh.

why was svn history truncated. 
imho this should be migrated with proper history and placed under proper
github organization.
i've seen some docs that pear/pecl staff does that for you, just need to
ask.

however, if you need svn2git migration, i can create migration myself
too.
but placing it under github.com/pear i can not help.

so please reopen ticket, as seems you just did personal test for this
problem, a temporary solution.

This bug has been fixed in SVN.

If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net
by the end of next Sunday (CET).

If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should
be live shortly.

Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release.

Try here - I'll try and keep that in sync.. - the pear/mail_mimeDecode
is a bit of a 
mess due to the import, and no idea if it works..
