While you can claim that github is a 'better place to work', it does move
development discussions away from HERE. I'm more than happy to have to live with
github as a source, but I'm blowed if I will ever use it's 'social media' side.
For that reason, keeping all php development tidy in one place - git.php.net -
is the only thing that makes any sense long term. Then developing php specific
tools to work with that across all aspects of php is just a logical extension?
Giving third party sites control of discussions has never made any sense to me,
so I don't use them unless forced. ANY documentation should be on the php site,
not liked to third party locations ...

But personally I'll continue to use Hg (git is still useless cross platform!)
for all my personal work, so I don't use git tools anyway, just hggit mirror to
where ever I need to connect and I can ignore anything else :)
