Follow the current projects documented reference 
http://piwik.org/participate/coding-standards/ and piwik partially uses Zend but 
chose to ignore their use of spaces! My own copy of that is now mainly tabbed 
since managing different standards for the same file extension in one IDE is 
impractical? And as I said having a tabbed version of the PEAR code here is 
another practical necessity.

I think my only point here is that there is not a consensus on this and changing 
projects to a single standard is probably now too late? So there should be no 
'pressure' to enforce one? We just have to put up with the confusion :( The 
mistakes were made too long ago to be able to change things now?
