I have no objections to Alexy having full commit rights to pear-core.
For those of us who can't remember the wealth of pear packages that Alexy
has worked on, his PEAR profile is at http://pear.php.net/user/avb :p

And I'm obviously all for a new version of the pear installer being
released ;)
