I think we have a few people willing to help, if we can just get down
what all is required and communicate that to the team. I've added a
document to the PEAR wiki which has a start of what (in my mind) is
required - I assume the PEAR Group will need to decide on which items
to bleed and sweat about, but I'll trust their judgment on what is
needed.

Consider me a volunteer to help out in the transition.

Here's the start of a wiki page to get some action items down, Hannes
can you help document some of the conversion details?
