From: doconnor Operating system: Irrelevant Package version: PHP version: Irrelevant Package: Documentation Bug Type: Documentation Problem Bug description: User note that is a documentation problem Manual page: installation.shared.php Note submitter: meini at utechworld dot com I am surprised that there is no information about the fact that, after installation, one needs to move the index.php file (which was created in the non-public area) into a web folder and then access it in a browser. It makes sense in hindsight, but for a first time user it is not so easy to see. Also it should be pointed out that the field \"Installation prefix ($prefix)\" needs to be set to that folder that was created on non-web territory (it is sort of explained though). -- Edit bug report at http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=17712&edit=1 --
