Hi Daniel, I am somewhat confused by the idea of having a package that is part of PEAR be superseded by a package that is not even part of PEAR. It doesn't make much sense to me. Same issue goes for the recent Spreadsheet_Excel_Writer/PHPExcel discussion. We should work to get these packages as part of PEAR, instead of just installable via some PEAR channel. +1 on getting new, good code into PEAR, -1 on telling users "PEAR version isn't good, use this other package that isn't even part of PEAR." I think if there is some way Jim would be willing to perhaps merge his new code into the existing PEAR package that would be a better way to go. Best regards, --Matthew
