Services_W3C_CSSValidator not anymore maintained

Hi,

I'm computer engineer and work for the company rissip where I develop and manage a learning and ecommerce platform. In our test UI process, I implemented a module for Magento to use the W3C XHTML Markup Validator. I'd like to do the same for CSS Validator. The current pear package is not really up to date and it's not maintain anymore. So I'd like to provide an updated version which is ready now. Is it possible to get rights to publish this updates. 
My package use the latest HTTP_Request2.
