Net_GeoIP maintainer

Hello all,

I have been talking with the old maintainer of the Net_GeoIP PEAR
extension, and he agreed that I should help in maintaining that
extension which is now marked as being unmaintained on pear.php.net.

I'm not sure I have enough karma, and I would need "Lead" access on
pear-web to upload new packages. Any insight on the process would
help.

For those of you that don't know me enough, tell me, I can write more
about my life.
