Hi all,
I'd like to put http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=18689 into the
spotlight.

From the looks of http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=18898 at least one or
two people have been caught out. Can we come up with an edit to the package
description or actual patches for api changes; examples; etc?

It would be preferrable to nip this one in the bud rather than close down
lots of duplicate tickets repeatedly.
