In that case it is a bit problematic, yes. The problem here is the phd
indexer if I remember correctly. The script which generates the tocs is
in peardoc/scripts/pearwebpackagetocs.php - I'll modify it to use only
the short descriptions, which should fix the issue. It could be that
other package tocs get worse then, though :)

We'll see on sunday.
